Gifts that keep on giving

Christmas is the time for giving and making a special effort to bring joy and happiness to family, friends, loved ones, acquaintances, work colleagues and people who are special in our lives. This year why not give a gift that keeps on giving.

We are lucky in Fernie to have some wonderful active non-profit organizations. For these organizations to continue to bring fantastic initiatives to the community, they need your support. By purchasing some of these great gift ideas, you are not only buying amazing stocking stuffers, but you are also supporting groups that give the “Gift of Giving” all year round.

Don’t forget about the Salvation Armys “Angel Trees” around town. They are located at Curves, Overwatea, Remax on 2nd and Canadian Tyre. Go to one of these locations, pick up the name of a needy child, buy them a Christmas gift and return it to Remax on 2nd who will wrap it and distribute them for Christmas day. What a wonderful way to share the Christmas spirit.

Have a safe and happy festive season.
